As festive sandwiches go, I don’t really place this one too highly. I rarely have brie on Christmas day, unless we crack out the cheese board later on in the day, when the stomach is already close to capacity.
I often don’t have turkey for Christmas either, so seldom find the need for cranberry sauce. I haven’t decided the meat of choice for this year, but a nice turkey crown could work out well.
I hope I haven’t angered or disgusted any of you with these admissions. I do enjoy both ingredients and this is what led me to the sandwich.
The brie was delicious and worked well with the cranberry sauce layer. This is a tasty sandwich which should probably be in the general sandwich selection throughout the year.
