Scoring the food.

This is the third time I’ve reviewed festive food for an audience.

I used to share my ramblings on social media, before making the leap to this platform, the year after.

After a while, my interest in eating the wonderful fare was more important to me than the interest in writing constantly about it. How do people manage to keep injecting the same level of energy in their writing? For me, I couldn’t.

And IF you saw any of my old blogs, you’ll know they were tongue in cheek, a review from someone who enjoys adding a touch of creative flair to what some people call, ‘Christmas food’, lumping it in with the ‘things to get for when Aunt Morag comes over’. Quite a few people who read the blogs don’t actually like mince pies, but they said the blog was palatable!

All I can say is that i’m re-energised this year.

Before the first food review, I want to outline how i’ll be scoring the food I eat.

Below, is how I’ll categorise all of the items I try and I’ve also included cost per pie for the mince and festive pies:

And Now to how I’ll score pies:

Important to note, that a 5 will be given for Price Per Pie for any pie that falls within those limits, I just don’t expect to see them!

For the items outside mince and festive pies, I will score them on taste and price only.

The ranges will be:

The maximum that one of these items can get will be 8. I didn’t want to shoehorn the price per “” on these items, so between 1-3 was agreed.

Thanks, if you’ve made it this far. PLEASE let me know what you think.
