I wasn’t sold by the name, or the price (£5.25!). It was the 5% from this item will be given* to Shelter.

…And it looked like a fish finger sandwich from first glance. It also sits upright on the shelf, so it almost juts out and makes you take notice.

The item was expensive but it was also quite pretty, the way it’s been packaged means it all stays where it’s meant to. There’s a plastic divider built into the tray so it stays neat.

I enjoyed the texture from the pickled slaw and the mayo gave a nice tang without any real heat.

The chicken ‘goujons’ weren’t very nice and some fresh chicken would have been perfect, as this is meant to represent a meal of leftovers (so says their  website).
