Phil Reviews Mince Pies

The second crumble topped indulgent pies from ALDI are millionaire’s crumble topped pies.

I’m quite hungry and in a bit of a rush, so this is a quick review tonight.

Delicious caramel Millionaire’s mincemeat tarts, topped with cocoa crumb.

Visually, they’re very pretty.

I hope they are packed with flavour, although I’m not expecting to be able to taste the vibrant notes from the mincemeat; these will probably be a a sweet crumbly dessert with the odd raisin.

The cocoa on the top is tasted throughout, which adds another dimension on what is, as expected, a very sweet pie. The caramel is added sparingly, and I’m glad actually… as are my teeth.

A different type of pie, which is sure to appeal to younger or chocolate focused pie eaters.
