Thanks to my Sister for getting these for me. you’re a good egg.

£4.50… yes you read that correctly.

We’ve got a festive club sandwich with “Umami Onions” among other goodies.

The website reads as follows:

“A sandwich made with chicken, seasoned mayonnaise, Cheddar cheese, beechwood smoked bacon, spinach, umami onions and chilli relish on buttered malted bread.”

So we’ve also got chilli relish? It says Chilli jam on the front, which led me to believe it would add some sweetness, a la cranberry jelly.

The Chilli does add a nice extra flavour. A short tingle of heat that disappears quickly. The onions didn’t stand out too much to me, perhaps lost within the giant sandwich.

3/5 for taste but 1/3 for price (Non PPP Score)

Back to a firm favourite of mine. But also for £4.50!

This is my go to festive sandwich, containing turkey, bacon, stuffing and possible one other ingredient. Any more additions and the flavour changes a bit too much.

This only needs a simple review. It’s meaty and flavourful. It’s easy to eat and enjoyable too.

As for the price.. NO, it doesn’t need to be this expensive, and there are cheaper sandwiches which will leave just as big a smile on your face.
