I enjoy eating Mince pies. I love the tiny pastry containers, filled with fruity, rich mincemeat and decorated with a neat top.
Mince Pies seem to hit our shelves in the UK earlier and earlier, but that doesn’t bother me. Instead, I work out a plan to try between 20-30 Mince Pies before Christmas and give you some helpful information, to help you make an informed choice on what to buy.
I like to look for interesting combinations, standard Pies (shortcrust and puff pastry) as well as anything else that catches my eye.

Christmas tree flavoured crisps – Iceland
A huge Beef Christmas sandwich – Sainsbury’s
A SUSHI Christmas Wreath (not a joke) – Tesco
