Tesco finest As of 22 November these are half price when you use your club card. From £3.50 down to £1.75. Hi, Mrs Phil here again. The box is nicely presented. There’s a mince pie which has been bitten into, a piece of lemon peel and either the top of a glass of something or

Iceland’s flagship pies. Hi, this is Mrs Phil Reviews Mince Pies having an attempt. I don’t have the same way with words as my husband, but I will give it my best shot. The box is nicely presented albeit quite simplistic. The mince pies are displayed on some slate. The mince pies look quite nice

Classic. This is the classic festive sandwich in my opinion. Yeah, it’s quite bold but you’ve got the main ingredients of a Christmas dinner here. Stuffing, cranberry sauce, turkey, bacon and mayo.. okay the last one is only when I’m talking ‘sandwichly’. But it’s a great sandwich combination, yet very easy to get wrong. Not

Okay, can you tell I’ve been to CO-OP recently? These were £1.50. There are few more items to come, but i’m all for it. They usually have decent food, so who am I to ignore that? My phone camera is pretty good, but even it couldn’t make these look any less like they’d been dropped.

“Crumbly, All butter Shortcrust pastry cases, generously deep filled with lightly spiced mincemeat laced with brandy and finished with a sweet dusting.“ Who could say no to that? And for £2.29 I was pleased with this particular pastry purchase. This is the first box thus far with a picture of the pies’ insides and a

What a mouthful. You can decide for yourselves how I meant that, later. I wandered down the local village for lunch, after the thought of a baked potato didn’t fill me with enough joy. I persuaded my colleague to come along for good company. There’s only one local shop, a Co Op. This one had

Every time I see a themed sandwich, My eyes light up. For this review, I’m being taken to Boxing day. The day after the big day, where most of us feast on the leftovers while the other half venture out of their comfortable homes to traipse through the Boxing day sales. £3.25 for the luxury

As the name mentions, I purchased this classy box of pies from Marks & Spencer. They were £4, which works out at 67p per pie. Once my eyes had stopped watering from the price, I journeyed back home to eat. To the box. There’s a window, allowing you to view the pies before making the
