These festive pies were £3 for 4 pies, equating to 75p per pie.
They share the party inspired packaging of the other festive Taste the Difference range, a selection of vibrant purples and golds.
The flavour combination seems interesting as well, Gianduja chocolate filling and a hazelnut frangipane. I feel like I’m in the “Great British Bake off”.
My first impression is that these are handsome pies, I just hope they’re not too dry. The first bite made me worried, as the filling was quite dry and felt like (I’d imagine) flavourful sawdust.
Luckily the second bite was more tasty, and less dry.
The smooth chocolate filling is nice and rich, a nice surprise if i’m honest.
An interesting pie but might be too dry for some.
